I took these pictures today when my Girlfriend and I went on a hike through a nature preserve just down the road from me.
Only in Maine can you have it be 70 degrees and still have snow on the ground.

Definitely not in an area with hoodlum kids, either that or they replace that Beaver Lodge sign once a week.

Thanks guys and kygrl! The nature preserve is 10 min walking distance from the local high school. I think the beaver lodge is abandoned because the dam has blocked all of the water around the lodge. Beavers enter there den through an underwater enterance and with the water being heald back predators can easly walk in and have beaver for lunch.
Rich I have better luck taking great landscape shots than I do with taking great fish shots.
