ok i found a stand for my 135.its the right length but its 3 inches too narrow.the tank would hang 3 inches off the back. im thinking a piece of 1inch plywood cut to 18inches would suffice to support the tank. idunno im thinkin its like a cantelever or any overhang on a house or building. i dunno any ideas?

If you put a piece of plywood over the whole top you might be ok.

Is there a way you can run a two by four across the back to help support the over hang?

Run it out to the back with some 18in wood, then make legs for the extension.

The majority of the weight will be on the stand, then the legs will pick up the rest.

I agree with saint. If you are going to hang the tank off one side you will definitely want some legs for the overhang so you don't tip the stand over.
