The premier of River Monsters on Animal Planet is at 10pm eastern tonight. This first episode is supposed to be about Piranhas. It should be worth watching.

There are people who go on collecting trips on MFK. One person asked me if I wanted to go to Uruguay for 2,000. That covered all permits and I think room and board.

On May 3rd there doing one on the Arapaima gigas. Check out the species profile I wrote and see what a true monster fish is.

Heres a Link to the monsters He's catching.

I'll definitely watch it. The river delta down here is loaded with them. About 20 years ago a huge one attacked the trolling motor on our bass boat. That was a real fun fishing trip.
