Not sure if this aquarium club is the same Maine where you are located, but I tend to find the local aquarium clubs have many hidden treasures that the LFS can rarely get in.

Hi Mike,

Dave can meet most of your "Shellie" needs. His fish are top quality and well priced.

Thank you both. I checked Daves today and I have found a few we like. How many shellies can I keep in a 20g high?

I would say stick with one type of shellie, but the best place to ask may be www.shelldwellers.com as they have lots of experience with mixing and matching.
From what I understand the brevis rarely venture more than 4" from their shells and can be mixed with other species. Not sure about the others, I personally have Multis.
I have the shellie "exiles" in my 55g community tanks with the danios and tetras and have no problems (my water is naturally 7.6 and everyone is fine with that).
