! my pleco is on that list

Is that banned for wild collection? I can't see them being banned from LFS selling tank bred specimens (who can tell though?). The link doesn't work.
I see some of those in LFS frequently, and I previously owned a common pleco.

I am sorry I forgot to mention they are banned from importation.

I don't know what mine, so I have no idea if it's banned or not. I keep meaning to look him up, but after it being here for three years now, I don't see me breaking that streak any time soon.

I was hoping to win POTM to force me into looking it up.

Well some have been banned for a number of years like the Zebra Pleco for exportation. You can breed these plecos in the home aquarium or in the us. You just can't aquire them legally from outside the US. It also looks like this is just a Brasilian export ban.

Well, let's see how fast the Pleco prices sky-rocket.

Im not sure which pleco I have. I tried looking it up but lots of look simaler to me. Ill have to post a pic and see if any of you all know.
