| Hey all last night I was cleaning my tanks when I noticed two of my discus cleaning off the intake tube on my ac110. I also noticed the two attacking the other discus when they came close to them. They are exhibiting the same signs that my breeding pair of angels do when they are about to spawn. I have my fingers crossed in hopes they will spawn that way I wont have to buy any more discus! If they do spawn and the others eat the eggs I'll be moving some fish around so I can move them into there own 20g tank. |

| Nice! It does sound like they might be cleaning off the intake to spawn there. Good luck! |

| Congrats.
If you do end up moving them to a 20, I think Pops was using small cones (like for little kids playin' soccer) to let them breed on. |

| I have one of those for my angels to use but they like the intake tube insted. I've already contacted pops for some tips and he said to call him when I know I have a pair. |

| Great goin' Mike. This is in that community tank of fish that "shouldn't" be kept with discus?
BTW, who's Pops? You refer to him quite often.

| poppopsfish on AC. He's a member here too but doesen't come on much. I like to think of him as a Discus Guru, he has 20+ years of breeding them. poppopsfish. Yes I do mean the tank of fish that "shouldn't" be kept with discus. |

| Pops actually lives about an hour away from me, he's hardcore insane as far as the Angels go. Discus and Plecos I believe are more recent additions but at 5+ years instead of the 20+ with angels. He's a very good source of information for them, but also very inflexible. It's his way or too f'n bad for you. He's definitely a good guy though. |
