 New fish!

So today I bought a butterfly "pleco" at my LFS. I'm using quotations because that LFS miss Lables everything and I'm thinking it was a butterfly loach. Well I get it home and start examining it and now I'm doubting that it's a loach. I compared it to both pleco and loach and I'm seeing simalarities in both species. I couldnt take a pic because he is so small and blends in with the gravel. Could someone point me in the right direction so I can ID him? Thank you.

The L168 is called a butterfly pleco.

It looks more like the loach but it has stripes & spots

Looks like a Gastromyzon farragus. As soon as I find it I'll take a pic just to make sure.
