| Hey everyone! I just found this site and it looks pretty cool to me.
My name's Alex, I'm 16 and I have a 10 gallon with 3 bala shark, 1 ID shark, an angelfish, 2 neon tetras and a boesmani rainbowfish. It's about 2 weeks old, any other fish you would suggest for it?
Glad to have found the site! |

| Well Looks to be your trying to copy me ehh??? My name is Alex to but I am 15. And you keep bala sharks and Id sharks to. Anyways the tank is way to small for all those fish. You do know that Bala sharks get 13'' and ID sharks get 4' right? Angelfish get 8''. And the rainbows can exceed 3''. So I suggest you at least get a 75 for a little while. Welcome! ALEX |

| Ok, I officially like it here. Truth is, I do not have a 10 gallon horribly overstocked, although my name is Alex. The 10 gallon is my "troll" question I ask on every fish forum before I actually join in on it, to see just how people feel about fish. You'd be surprised at how many forums say it's a nice sounding tank and I should get some pics up of it. Please don't be upset, but it helps me decide whether a forum is worth staying on.
I actually have 5 tanks, a 75, 38, 29, 10 and 2.5 gallon.
75 gallon is a semi-aggressive community tank with: 2 Pelv. taenitus, 5 C. aenus, 4 Nannacara sp., 3 madagascar rainbows, 5 oddessa barbs, 2 SAE, 2 Botia dario, 5 cherry barbs (4 albino, 1 norm) and a Blue paradise fish and a Black x Blue paradisefish (Had a black, the blue and black bred and now I have 1 little hybrid), it used to have a sev but we took him out because he was being an eye-biter.
38 gallon is a high tech planted tank in waiting: currently have 3 A. macmasteri "rotrucken" (1 adult male, 2 fry), 5 Dwarf Pencilfish and 1 betta.
29 gallon is a coldwater hillstream tank: 3 Gastro. ctenocephalus, 2 Gastro. sp. unknown 3, 1 Gastro. ocellatus, about 30 WCMM, 2 bamboo shrimp and a dwarf horsefaced loach.
10 gallon is a dwarf fish tank: 4-30 Endlers (4 adult females, a ton of fry), 2 Ps. gertrudae (2 adults, a couple fry), 2 C. habrosus, 1 C. elegans, 1 A. macmasteri juvie and 1 Oto. paulinus.
2.5 gallon brackish: Amano shrimp and a few MTS for substrate moving. |

I hope to, right now their pretty small but I'm hoping to get at least 1 male and 1 female, 2 females wouldn't be too bad since I have another definite male. The problem is feeding the larvae right now... Pretty much hope to have the tank for nerites and amanos, but they're going to compete for food so I might have to set up something like a 10 gallon for nerites.
I'll have some pics up shortly. |
