| Okay Ivan, I've got someone local now who's thinking exactly what your thinking as to that single African that I was thinking was a Socolofi. Bonus cool points to whoever else said that might be it too.  My friend brought one of his coworker friends over to hang, (the guy I tried to get to take the electric catfish actually) and I was showing him the tanks. Unprompted he said that was a gorgeous zebra. To which I blurted out "You want him?" and he said yes! Then there was much rejoicing.  Guy needs to make preparations but we're going to figure out a time this week to move him. Hopefully this time will work out the best, since if that's what he is and we know that's what he is, then well here's hoping dude knows how to deal with his cranky self anyhow. |

| LOL, I wasn't sure even in chat coupla weeks back, when ya said ya thought it was a socolofi. The mouth didn't look right, but then the angle and him hiding behind the heater didn't make for a good pic, either. Well, hopefully he has a good home now.

| Well you said, Mbuna for sure, and I started going through mbuna pics and the closest I found was the Socolofi. The site I was using didn't even have the blue zebra listed.
Really to be honest, extra evil Socolofi or average Blue Zebra, I hope he finally gets a good home. |

| That woulda been one extra extra evil socolofi. IME, they can hold their own with the really evil varieties, bumblebees, zebras, auratus, etc., but are relatively peaceful with each other and the "good" species, LOL.
