| Just found 2 egg clutches today. Was trimming up some plants & there was 1 on a plant & 1 about mid way on the side of tank. These kind lay their clutches under water while the brigs/apple/mystery, lay theirs above the water. Pretty darn cool critters! |

| Here's a couple pics of my Crowntail Betta Fry (35 days old today) from my male in my avatar & some of my Baby Brigs (8 days old today) from my Chestnut Mommy & Ivory Daddy I purposly left the algae in this tank for now so the baby Brigs wouldn't have to travel to find food. When they get a little bigger, they will go into my 29g planted that I'm working on now & the tank can get cleaned good. Getting ready to set up another 10g breeding tank for another batch of Bettas. My male & female 2. Hope to be able to write a complete article on it, pics throughout & some video. More later!!! |

| Thank you!
1 of my F RCS was dead on inspection this morning. Got to looking w/ magnifying glass & she had eggs in her still. Don't even know why I looked but I did! (wish I never in a way= let M. nature take it's coasre Found this web site that explains what to do. I am still so freaked out over this, but I did it anyway, if my orphaned RCS eggs hatch I WILL be completely in debt to them forever!!! Here's the site addy ... of what I HAD to do ...
http://www.planetinverts.com/Artifically%20Hatching%20Eggs.html
This is like the worst case scenario ever people ... PLEASE MAKE SURE SHE IS DEAD, FIRST, BEFORE YOU ATTEMPT THIS!!! I am still so sad over the loss of her, but even more sad at what I had to do to her body before disposal!!!!
I HTG I never have to do that again in my lifetime!!!
