This is getting nasty. I have never had large fish or large tanks, but I have read enough to know that you are over stocking the tanks that you have. At this point BSF I don't think it matters to you what anyone of us says to you, you have your mind mad up and that's it. My advise to you at this point is to do research and ask for others advise before you buy, it will save you a lot of money and the fish will be healthier and live longer.

Looking through mass.gov and the Mass Fisheries and Wildlife Dept. there's nothing, either statewide or on the city level regarding non-native catfish ownership. I'd be happy to ask the customs people I deal with or the federal park services folks, but I'm pretty sure there isn't one, since I also can't seem to find a single person on MFK complaining about this "law" of yours. It's not like Springfield is a tiny little town.

Given that your first reaction, was to explode like that instead of oh, say finding somewhere online that mentions this law.. Well. I'm sticking with you got lied to, or are full of it.

Did someone force you to take these RTC? Someone hold a gun to your head and insist that you must take them? Then you got yourself into this mess. Either you f'ed up or got taken by your fish store. It's okay to admit it. People would actually have a lot more respect for you if you did.

Also IF you bothered to do some research or asked here you would have known. I don't know the specifics for your state, but I know where to look, and I know people to ask that it's their job if I can't find it. Research. Be informed. Knowledge is power and all that crap.
