The cat was 3 x 1/4 x 1/4 on Jan 29th, and know its just over 6 x 1 x 1. Hes growing just over an inch and a half a month.
This cat is a very aggressive eater, at feeding time its all over the tank collecting sinking & floating pellets, flake, live, frozen, and it gos nuts for worms. When the cats at the top gobbling up flake and pellets its whole head sticks out of the water. It looks more like a shark than a cat. I have to give the cat a big, whole night crawler to keep it busy so the rest of the tank mates can have a chance to eat. Since I started giving him his own worm the only problem I run into at feeding time is that the cat and the clawed frog will get into a tug of war with a worm now and then. I have been trying to get a pic of the cat darting around the tank with the frog in tow but no luck so far. _________________ I'd have more aquariums but when I talk to my wife about it, she gives me the look!

| That sounds about right on the growth rate. From my reading up on them they're supposed to be fast growers and used for food. When the one I had here was here, he seemed to put on about 2in a month. Scary how quick they grow, and how big their mouths get. |
