Well I was looking at Craigslist again today and couldn't pass up the deal I saw. It was for a 20gal high with stand for $20. So I decided to go take a look at it. The tank and stand are in excellent shape and when I got there I found out it also came with 2 aquarium fish books, a hood with functioning T5 light fixture, background (which I probably won't use), a gravel vac, some food, test kits...and a bunch of other junk I ended up throwing out. Now all I need to buy is a filter...lol...my wife thinks I'm crazy... geek

lol...I found out I may be able to get some endlers so I figured I should put them in a tank... Wink

Why not put them in a cheap tank...lol

So the 20high got cleaned out...set up and I started to cycle it today. Hopefully this one will cycle a little quicker than the 29gal did. I'll have to get some pics up this week. it's nothing fancy. A stealth heater and a sponge filter is all that is in there. It will be an endler and fry tank so I may keep it a bare bottom tank. Oh yeah...and i painted the back glass black. It turned out nice.

Geez. I'm so jonesin'. Went to sand tonight and halfway down the first wall the bag blew off of the sander. Couldn't see 3 inches in front of my face. Have to let the dust settle and try again tomorrow.

Well my ammonia is already at zero for the last couple of days on this tank. It is cycling much faster than the 29gal did thank god!

I thought I had a post on here about the tank cycling on friday...lol. I got the fish and tank set up yesterday...it is my kids tank. It took 2 weeks to cycle it. I'll start a new thread with some pics in the Freshwater picture forum.
