ok first i actually like the whole yellow thingy. it makes me stick out lol but, anyway, i like your smileys, they're nice and simple but i think there should be a few more, and i would like to see a few more members become active. i understand its new but our members would like to see more friends here. its no ones fault its just something we need to figure out how to do it TOGETHER. different people cant succesfully recruit people to the standards and likings of others. its just my point of view and i know a lot of people disagree with me and its normal but just htink about it.

Sadly the limit on smilies with forumotion is 150 (or 149... something liek that anyway)... which is a shame. At my old forum I had over 600 different ones, and I miss them, and to have to narrow them down when we moved forums were terrible... lol!

Tell me what smilies you are interested in and I will add them! Also I can't make members come on and post....I send out a email to inactive members about once a month reminding them they haven't posted in a while here...I do my part the Mods and members can help out if they choose by putting FWM in their sigs etc....and promoting any other way. Unfortunately I don't have thousands of dollars to put us on top in the search engines. I also advertise on the free forum index pages and in their directory where we are I think top 10 or 20.....

13th actually.... http://www.forumotion.com/en/Nature-and-Escape/Pets-18.htm

Here is another place I advertise.
http://help.forumotion.com/forum-promotion-forumotions-only-f12/

And we are on aquarank where you vote for us to be on top. We are currently in the top 50....two places to vote here on the forum for us.

I think we have very good info here and have been pretty successful considering we have been up less than a year and we are a free forum. I will be disabling all the adds in Feb. which will make it more appealing to sign up. Participation in the contests helps us grow as well....I would like to see our members all participate in POTM and sense it is a small forum the chance to win is higher. Any suggestions are always welcome but I am doing what I can and word of mouth goes a long way.

This site is growing really well. It is run well and the members are doing a great job staying active. All forums have a percentage of members that join and never post or just don't stay as active as others. :gdjob:
