| Well, after takin' yesterday easy, I hit it again today. And here we are... ...all sanded and ready to prime, and... ...primed and ready to texture. Finished the second coat of mud in the second room today, the hall needs a coupla touch ups, and I'm shootin' for texturing next weekend. Here's a link to the tile I think I'm gonna get... African Gemstone Tile. Click on the African gemstone tile to get a better idea of some of the the color variation this tile has. So...I'm finally to the point where I'm plannin' on the decorative aspects. I can feel it... WYite _________________ One can never have too many fish tanks.

| Been a while, but haven't been slackin' on workin' on it. March 15 photos. Textured and ready to paint: The tile color changed from my original plan. There was gonna be a 4-6 week delay in getting the tile in as the manufacturer was between lots. I decided I didn't want to wait, and went with my second choice. The original dsrk purplr wouldn't have looked good with this tile, so changed the color to a dark pine green. The good thing is the second tile choice was a heckuva lot cheaper. | And what it looks like today: Went with a mildew resistant, satin bathroom paint. Fifteen tiles left to cut and lay. I wanted it done by now, but our new boiler at work won't stay runnin', so that's cut into my work time at home. So much for payin' $8 million for a brand new boiler. :angspmd: Rest of the tile, grout, outlet covers, and trim this weekend if I don't get snowed in out here. Then... | Looks nice! Now put some tanks in it... The new tile looks great. I think I would have gone a bit lighter on the green but it still looks good. You may find yourself trying to scrape algae off of the glass and then finding it is just the reflection of the green paint on your tanks... |

Why the twisted grin? That's actually Phase 3 of my aquarium project. Phase 2 is the wind generator to cut electrical costs, hopefully within 2 years. I'll actually start on Phase 3 when the opportunity presents itself, a 60' x 36' building. Well, I'll have to build the buiding sooner, 'cuz that's where the sheep are going for 4-H. Probly have to take a loan out for that. But when the youngest graduates, I'll have no more use for it as a barn, so then the tank. 8' deep. "E" shaped. The main section 52' x 13', with each arm 12' x 12'. Glass in the recesses of the "E" for viewing. RTCs, paraibas, alligator gar and flathead cats would be the attraction fish. Figger I have 'bout ten years to design, plan and save for the tank portion. That's the goal right now, I might end up revising it over time.

| Your mega tank is on par with my future Aldabra building plan. Shame about the tiles. Nice second choice on 'em though btw. They look like the exact same tiles that are in my bathroom right now. Have you decided what your doing for racks yet? You rolling your own or your buddy still going to weld you some up? |

Building my own. Big Mike is building a cabin and doesn't know when he'd get time to do it. I'm not waiting.

| Finished the grout today. Seal it tomorrow. Trim Tuesday or Wednesday. Then clean up and touchin' up the paint in a coupla places. This assumes work cooperates, which hasn't happened the past week or so. No tanks in there yet. Still hopin' to get the 225 moved in next weekend, with a little help from a few suckers, err...friends. Thanks for the comments, everybody. I'm getting psyched!
