| The worst thing about that greenboard dust is it's so fine you don't realize just how much there is in the room. I remember the last time I was looking around thinking how it didn't look that dusty, so I took off my mask for a bit. It's one of those big 3M full face shields like firefighters use. It works really well but it's really heavy after long periods of time. Anyway I decided to sweep up some, and boy that was a mistake. I spent the next day coughing or sneezing out fine sheet rock particles. Never again. |

Never again. |
I usually put on a dust mask and do just fine, I have moderate asthma. Saturday went down and started workin' without a mask, spaced it out, and ended up puffin' on the resuce inhaler two hours later. I was useless after that, weak and completely exhausted. Took a four hour nap, and I don't have time to take naps. This is the first time I've ever worked with greenboard, it does seem a lot worse than regular sheet rock.

Thanks, it is moving pretty good, not as well as I'd like. Patience is a virtue I really have to work at to achieve, LOL. Comin' up on the end of the heavy, time consuming labor stuff, though, so should start movin' at a better pace. Went to upload the update pics and the batteries on the camera are dead. Mrs. WYite took my spares and put 'em in her MP3 player, and they're dead too. I'll let the batterieas charge overnight and try again tomorrow.

| Yea. Greenboard is definitely worse than regular rock. I never looked into it, I had just assumed that it was due to the water resistant treating they put it through. I occasionally do some fancy table legs and stuff on a wood lathe and the flying volume of little bits it just made more sense to splurge on the full face guard. Plus it keeps my glasses from fogging up. |

| OK, finally...LOL. The room with the greenboard all hung and the bullnose up. I'll throw in a pic of the hall and the other room as well, just so ya know I'm not wastin' time in between the updates, LOL. Dad is gonna help me finish off the other room Saturday, then the wife said she'd help tape and mud. The local Lowe's is remodeling, rearranging, and updating their stock. Two weeks ago I went to get the power bars (52" long, eight outlet bars with separate built-in breaker and GFCI) and found official looking paperwork on the display that said "not on plan, n/s". n/s = non-stock? Been into Lowe's every day for two weeks. Found 'em in the clearance section today after work. Regularly $42.97, on clearance for $16.12. Cleared out the rest of their stock, seven of 'em. Still need a coupla more, but saved a heckuva lot a money today. WYite _________________ One can never have too many fish tanks.
