| My LFS has some Bolivian ram, I don't know much about them and was wondering if any one could answer a few things for me.
What is the best size tank for them? How large do they get? Would they be OK in a tank with Kribs?
I like fish that are around the size of my Kribs or smaller, since I don't have large tanks. The biggest tank that I have right now is 29 gallons do to limited space at the time I was getting back into the hobby. I do plan to get a much larger tank was The wife and I get the last of our kids out of the house. I'm not planning on getting any of these fish right now, I was just curious. _________________ |

| Kribs are commonly kept with Rams with a great success rate. Rams typically will get 2-3 inches at an adult size. A 20g tall is a minimum requirement for a pair with tankmates. I have two Rams with two angels and a few plecos in a 29g tank. _________________ "There he goes - one of God's own prototypes - a high powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. | I've had some good results with Bolivians in 20 and 29 gallon aquariums. They have never been very aggressive with other species in my experience, except when guarding eggs or young. I've never tried keeping them with Kribs, but as long as their territories don't overlap, it would most likely work. Here's a good article on them.

Well, you can Mike, but you might want to get some Kribs instead.
