    customer:Hi I want to put 10 2" comets into a 1 gallon bowl
me: does this bowl have a filter?
customer: no I want them in a bowl
me: goldfish need a filter otherwise you will be doing water changes everyday
customer: I have to change water?
me: yes even if you have a filter you still need to do a water change
customer: Oh ok.......I have a filter now
me: ok now the most goldfish I suggest putting in this filterless bowl is 1
    customer: no I want 10
    me: "sigh" ok
    -next day-
customer: how come I put my fish in bowl and today all dead?
me: did you dechlorinate the water?
customer: no chlorine in water I have alkaline water
me: just because you have alkaline water doesnt mean there is no chlorine in the water.
    customer:ooooooooooooh
Me: "yells to boss" can you take care of this? I need a break

I handle about 10 people like this on a daily basis...theres one guy that likes to come in ,and while I am telling people they need a heater for tetras, he insists and expresses out loud that tetras do not need heaters blah blah blah.

I picked up 7 Neolamprologus savoryi at my fish club meeting on Tuesday. They are cool little fish. Right now they are all pretty small (under an inch)

They are pretty mild mannered unless they decide to spawn, from what I understand. Typical cichlid behavior. I'm hoping to get them to spawn so I guess I'll find out.

So I went to my monthly fish club meeting last night. Makes me wish I had a tank set up right now. Hopefully I can get settled and set one up soon. I'm thinking of stocking it with some local sunfish and possibly black crappie. Not 100% sure yet though.
