| submissive angels are the pansies of the group, 5 out of 11 angels are pansies, yes i keep pansy fish lol.
they are more community angels, they are two male super veil blue marbles, one female pinoy leopard (her and one of the blues brothers are hanging out lovely like) and the last two are a 3.5year old breeding pair of domestic angels.
the discus are always out, they are friggin vultures. |

| I tried to do a full biotope however plant selection was nill to null and species were a bit hard to obtain quality specimens. the tank used to have everything from dithers to discus, It had a dozen rams at one point but had a homicidal female that ended up killer herself by bashing her face into her own reflection.
i enjoy it, next week it will look different i am doing a total rescape. |

| My discus did nothing but hide and flee in terror any time I ever came near them. I finally got bored with them and gave them to my mom, where they still hide in terror, but she's far more tolerant of it. |

| You cant walk within sight of these ones without them bumrushing the glass.
How was/is it set up? as you can tell mine is heavy in plants and dithers which i do believe helps ALOT. They are communial schooling fish and the more the merrier when it comes to these guys.
I got one that is a runt, not a full 2" and he is over 6 months old, he hides alot but im not sure if its hiding or being small enough to get the hidden morsels of food. I am not really concerned since he is healthy, active and doesnt take doodoo from the big 5" breeders that are in there, he will knock them right back as hard as he got knocked. I will post new pics i took today of them out and about, they are on the blackberry and its on the cradle for the night.
Side note, my old muscle car was named Ms.Felony |

| I had started 6 of them in a species only tank, since the breeder who gave them to me was very very adamant about that's how they needed to be. They hid in the plants. I tried some dithers, some cherry barbs maybe or something like that, they were supposed to be feeders for hatchling turtles but they were too fast for them. I also added a few little hi finned banded sharks (two or three inchers) to grow out with them. Again the discus hid in the plants. I rearranged the tank, I moved things around, I pulled out all the plants. Nothing. They'd just find somewhere else to hide. Even when I'd feed them, they'd dart out eat as fast as they could and then dart back into the plants. So after about 6 months of that, I got kinda sorta bored with them and when there was a chance to free up that tank, well, out the door they went. |
