| Went out this morning to a little water hole i saw that had been left over since the creeks are drying up here lately.
Took some old freezer burnt market shrimp, Yuck !! and caught a couple of fingerling Large Mouth Bass about 3 inches each, and a dozen Green Sunfish. Kept the LMB babies, and the smallest Green, about 3 inches or so, and really nicely colored up. Yup..... you guessed it....Plopped them right into one of my tanks.. |

| Sounds like fun...hopefully you have a big tank. That sunny will eventually become lunch for the LMB. Keep in mind that it is not a good idea to release native fish that have been kept in captivity. |

| Thanks for that advice And youre right ...big fish do indeed eat little fish, and even though im not necessarily promoting using sunfish as feeders, as you say it is a better alternative than euthanasia, or returning them to the wild, and quite the natural order of things. |
