I was cleaning my 20 gallon yesterday and I moved my kribensis' cave, I noticed there was these things so with my finger I swished them around. HOLY SHIT I HAVE BABY KRIBS. So I promptly put the cave back, and mommy krib went back to the cave. I notice they are trying there darnedest to keep the babies in the cave, but they wont stay. Today they are having a field trip around the tank. I put a sponge on my filter intake, but they are in a community tank. Should I be moving the family out of the tank? or should I just leave them be? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

| A breeding box should be fine. _________________ "There he goes - one of God's own prototypes - a high powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die".

Ok I have vacuumed them up and they are in the breeding net, its a solid frame with a fine net around, allows water to flow through. I put mom and dad in the net to, was this the right thing to do?

Congrats on the fry. I agree just keep the babies in there. What and how often do you plan to feed them? If you have a separate tank it may be easier to raise them in a separate smaller tank. With water changes and feeding an all.

I have them in a 5 gallon right now with the parents, I was told not to separate fry from the parents because the male will want to breed even though the female may not be ready. I am feeding them fry food by nutrafin, and I'm not sure how often I should be feeding them.

You should be feeding them small amounts about 3 or 4 times a day. The small tank is good because water changes will be easy. I would also recommend frequent partial water changes like 25% a day. Fry require pristine water conditions.
