I don't think you can blame any one president and there administrations for the border problem down there, it's been an issue for decades. I think it has more to do with the Mexican government not doing more for there own people forcing them to go where they can have a better live. As for the drug trade, just make the shit legal.

I agree with not legalizing drugs as well, however some need to be reclassifed. Id love to see alcohol held to the same standards as more illicit drugs.

We havnt had a good president since the 1940's. Once private companies were allowed to buy into the government it all went to hell in a hand basket.

Ive seen this border war first hand, We used to chuck rocks from the fenced and barb wired playground of my elementary school at the border jumpers running past from the BP. We didnt care, we thought it was fine to do, Now I wish we could have done more especially since the rancher defending his land from tresspassers was shot dead when he confronted the border jumping drug runners.
Something needs to be done, we as americans have a right to defend our rights and way of life, let alone the soil we call home against foreign invaders, we also have the right to the 2nd amendment where we can form a militia to further protect our borders from these foreign invaders.

It starts with voting, we MUST vote out the sitters and get new younger people holding elected seats. Its time to show both major political parties that we dont want their governing anymore, we dont want them meddling in our lives. This is not the government outlined in our nations most sacred documents.We do not live by the principals our founding fathers set forth for us. Alot of people died gaining our freedom and way of life, how dare any of us challenge or change that.

Again I want to thank you all for the great discussion on protecting not only our southern border but our homeland. We have the right to bear arms and I personally do that.I live to close to what some call a war zone and if the drug dealer and the drug cartels have their way thats what it be become.WE have to stop the drugs as well as the foreigin invaders that want to distroy our way of life.One way is to finsh the fence and give the Nat gurard police power to stop the bad guys from crossing the border.I know enough good marksmen in Az hell just put a few of them a couple of hundred yards away with high powerd rifles and let them do what we dont have the troops or the Border patrol to do we can stop them from wanting to cross the desert and bring their poison in to sell to our kids if they have to walk past bodys of their coworkers. Yeah I KNOW THATS NOT HOW WE DO THINGS BUT I WAS RANTING ONCE AGAIN LOL.The rancher that was murdered back in March never did any thing but help the people that he forund on his land and they killed him for it.I know people that live down there and around Douglas Az I myself have worked down there those people live in a war zone it to bad that a man had to die for the Goverment to say we have had enough we have to stop this.Washinton DC AS WEL AS HOMELAND SECURTY IDEA WAS TO SEND THE NAT GUARD TO WACTH AND BACK UP BORDER PATROL.
