I know that I am getting ready to open a can of worms but I just have to ask? Want does every one think about the problems that we here in Az are haveing along our boder with Mexico .I live here and have spent a lot of time hunting along the border and have stopped because of the drug runners and human trafficers that come though it is now just to dangerous .I am not sure that building the fence is the answer but nether is send 1200 national guardmen that will do oil changes for the border patrol.we need boots on the ground we have do something to make MY STATE SAFE. I have mixed feeling about sb1070 so please dont call me a raceist because I am not . :usa: :veteran:

Our borders should be porotected and closed!!!!! If you want in do it legally if not I think they should be allowed to shoot the son's of XITCHES!!!!!!!!! No matter what nationality or color they are you pass unallowed you get shot simple and it will put a stop to it quick!!!

I'm Canadian, so I do not have all the facts and my comments are based on the bit of info I have gotten from TV. I know that our border has it's problems with things coming up to us that we don't need and that is the same with illegal things going your way from our side. The border between Canada and the USA will always have illegal shit crossing, you just can't catch it all. Criminals will still cross the border even if you are shooting the ones you catch, because they are the type of people who will risk it for money. As for the border with Mexico, I would think that putting boots on the ground could help in problem areas, but it may force them to go else were and then you end up chasing then around anyway from one area to another. I don't think shooting every person crossing the border illegally would work there either, since again the lure of money on certain elements in society would in there minds worth the risk, since you have to catch them to shoot them. As long as Mexico is the way it is you will always have the extreme problems that you have with that border and have had for decades. If I where in your shoes I would be pissed and want the government to get tougher and to start seeing some heads role. I'm sure there will never be a perfect solution to the problem with that border that will make everyone happy.

This is my opinion and only my opinion. FWM and it's affiliates are in no way responsible for the statements made.

When a immigrant can be expecting a baby and come across our borders and have a baby, that baby is automatically a U.S citizen I think it's a bunch of bullshit! The parents then stay with the child.(bullshit) Let's not let the parents stay to raise the baby. Ship there asses back to Mexico. Give them the opportunity to take the child or leave it to be adopted. Would they be less likely to come and have a baby?? I know I certainly wouldn't leave my child.

Hell, I don't blame them for trying to better their situation. I am all for people bettering themselves. But there is a right and a wrong way to do things. I think we need to look at what these people are running from and try to fix it. Not that we can but it might be worth a try.

My opinion is, the problem will never be fixed and the government cant keep up with it. I disagree with us profiling just the border from mexico though. We Have a huge problem with overseas as well...We also welcome People from India, China and other illegals with open arms. The think we need to controll is illegals coming over making money illegally and taking it back to Mexico. Also as long as we employ these people which is an even bigger problem we will always be taking one step backwards.

We have the same issues with illegals here in Canada. What both countries need to do about that is when you catch them ship there ass out ASAP no second chance, no appeals, just here is a ticket home. The only thing they should get to take with them is a real nice florescent orange jumpsuit with illegal printed on the back. They should not be treated nice by officials during the process. As for the criminal element I covered that in my last post.

Why are we so hell bent on keeping people out? Why not let the people who want to be here?

May an better or easier system of citizenship would cut down on a good number of these problems.

My response to the bold is, let the baby keep their citizenship until they are of age to go on their own. If the baby decides to come here and make a living, then ok. Aslong as the baby can speak english and knows something about USA's politics.

It's not about keeping people out, it's about people having to come to this country legally. Legal immigrants are welcomed with open arms. Illegal immigrants should be welcomed with soldiers bearing arms. The problem with just opening our borders to anyone without them having to go through proper immigration and naturalization processes is we would eventually have to start moving out to make room for them. It has to be done with care so as not to cause overpopulation and/or allowing criminals access to US citizenship. There is no easy answer to this problem because no matter how streamlined the process is made someone will always try to enter this country (and others) illegally. People just don't want to wait and criminals (felons) know the only way they can get here is illegally.

A friend of mine, a Canadian, ended up with a friend of mine from the US, and after getting married, has been for something like the last 5 years going through hell with immigrations. They want financial paperwork, they want tax information, all from Canada, at one point they wanted estate information for his grandmother, since he has a bank account with an "exceptionally large" balance. He has no criminal record, he has no other problems, and it finally took him getting all lawyered up before Immigrations would do near anything about his application. Turned out, according to the lawyer half the things immigration wanted paperwork on weren't even required by law.

If most applications for immigration get handled like that it's no wonder we have the illegal problem that we do.

The other thing is with the crazy shit that's going on in Mexico, some sort of exception should be made for the honest people who just want to gtfo.

Or and here's some more crazy talk, but instead of running around all over in the middle east, what about helping Mexico instead.

Sorry to hear about your friend's problems with naturalization. Hopefully that is the exception rather than the norm. I have a friend who married a Canadian as well and his wife had no issues becoming a naturalized citizen (other than all the paperwork involved). Maybe because she didn't have a big bank account...who knows. Bankroll profiling I guess Wink. I believe there is a 3yr minimum wait period for naturalization of people who are married to US citizens and 5yr for those not married to US citizens.

If cars ran on tequila I'm sure our country would be helping Mexico more than we do right now.

Boy I did open a can of worms I knew that this would be something that would get some great comments. I want you all to know that I have no problem with people that go though legal channels to get citizenship. MY problem is the our former govner that now has a job in Washington DC has what seems like to me as well as other here in Az has turned her back on us s he is more interested in photo ops than secure our border with Mexico the fence has to be built and we need boots on the ground so we can keep the drugs and human scum balls out . If you take some of those assholes out by shooting them a lot of it will stop. There was a cattle rancher that was shot and killed in March the network news does not talk about that. he was shot 6 times at point blank range the Mexicans wont do a dam thing the Mexican president was in D C a few weeks ago and bad mouthed Az for the new imigrtion law in my opinion people that live in glass houses should not throw stone that jack ass needs to clean up hisown govrement instaed of tell us how to run our state I encoruge evryone to not spend your hard earned dollars in Mexico. :usa:
