| So I know the rest of you have multiple tanks like I do, what do you do when the powers out? Last night my power was out for 4 hours, does this affect the fish in any way? I would just like to hear what everyone else does in this situation or if you have even encountered this situation. Suggestions, comments, ideas please. |

| I have been lucky, my tanks are so lightly stocked that I have gone 3 days without power and have had no ill effects.
A generator or battery powered air pumps will help. Water changes will keep things going. If it is cold wrap your tanks in blankets to keep the temps up. |

| I live in Florida so we have a Whole House Generator now, but at one point in time I held up 22 tanks for 28 days with water changes and battery powered air pumps with out loosing any fish
