LMAO, yes that is funny, a sadly and unfortunately accurate appraisal of the situation, but definitely hilarious. Unfortunately, the effects of this are gonna be felt a lot longer and a lot farther than people realize on multiple levels. I don't want to even guess how long it's gonna take (decades? centuries?) for the gulf to even begin to heal. The economic impact on the region? Huge I'm sure. On evereybody else? I'm sure most places back east where BP has the majority of their U.S. refineries are seein' higher fuel prices. And this reflects poorly on the entire oil industry, at a time when it can least afford it. Every time somethin' like this happens, the ripples of new regulations and environmental requirements are felt across the oil industry, even here in Wyoming.
