| I just got a post card in the mail from FAMA magazine. They stated the Freshwater and Marine Aquarium magazine will no longer be available as of July 2010. It was one great magazine. I have been getting it for a few years and I will miss it very much. For all of you fish loving people out there. I want to let you know that they are still sending out cards for you to subscribe to the magazine. So don't. They do have another good magazine to replace this one. It is called Aquarium Fish International. | Quote: | | BowTie Inc. is constantly reviewing its products, refining them as necessary, creating new publications and, if needed, discontinuing others or adjusting their frequency and/or presentation based on the reader response to them, changes within the publishing industry, etc. Although Freshwater and Marine Aquarium (FAMA) will no longer be published as a stand-alone magazine, its most popular columns are being transferred to its sister fishkeeping magazine, Aquarium Fish International (AFI), and FAMA feature article authors will be appearing in future issues of AFI, as well. Fans of FAMA’s expert writers will therefore still be able to find their favorite authors in AFI beginning with the July 2010 issue. |

| I have been getting AFI magazine for years now.... That sucks when you can no longer get something, esp. reading material when you enjoyed it so much. _________________ "There he goes - one of God's own prototypes - a high powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. | I'd think they'd at least convert any new/current subscriptions to the other magazine. I'm not sure how different the two are so at least it's a good heads up in case you have no interest in the other one. |
