    anybody know how long a betta will keep her eggs? if she doesnt spawn, does she get egg bound, or does she lose them?

    umm i dont know how long she keeps them but if you feed her some green peas or something like that i think she will pass them, but dont let her get too big or she could die

    she is fine. I have her next to the males tank so they can see eachother but I must not be conditioning right or its not time yet. no nest no nothng from the male.

    some bettas dont build nests until the eggs are acutally being fertilized and wont will blow a bubble nest while the spawning is taking place

    how long have you been conditioning? if it has been about 2 weeks then i would say yea put them togther and see what happens

    its been 2 or 3 weeks now. Ishould probably put them both in a new tank so its all neutral, correct?

    yea put them together and watch them closely make sure the male or female arnt getting beat up too bad
