| Started a thread six or more months ago about getting back in Piranha. Well I am bored with some of the Cichlids I have, don't have room for more tanks and have got rid of lots of my tanks and equipment. But, now I have a urge to start another Piranha tank, Sense keeping them in the late 90's I have wanted to get more. I think I may get rid of some of the big guys and re-do the 120 as a Piranha tank. But now I have to think about rehoming 2x Jd's, a Severum , Oscar and a Green Terror. Maybe I am delusional but maybe I am just bored with what I have. I am not a fan of smaller fish and love aggressive bastard fish. The other problem I have is The LFS around here suck and I am not willing to ship. I guess I need to find a club near by or renew my vows with the ACA and hook up with someone local interested.
Anyway I just wanted to let ya'll know what I was thinking about and hopefully spark some discussion. Any comments welcome. _________________ "There he goes - one of God's own prototypes - a high powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. | Wanted to at first w/ the 100 but, I went against it cause of my litttlebrother. Plus I don't want to have a circular scar on my body if I get bit. Exodons would be cool. |

| Sounds cool! I've always wanted to keep them but haven't tried it yet. Maybe some day. What is a minimum tanks size for them? |

| Prob at least 120 for a small school. Most species get over 10 inches. _________________ "There he goes - one of God's own prototypes - a high powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die".

| Well was looking into law and found out Piranha are illegal to purchase and own in NM.....doesn't mean I can't have them, just can't legally. _________________ "There he goes - one of God's own prototypes - a high powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. | Exodons. They aren't illegal are they? Could also try some of the more aggressive characins like Leps, Abramites, FW Barracuda, and Charax. |
