Filtration and Setup: These fish like lots of hiding spaces like caves, rootwork, plants and niches. Any hang on back filter will work fine for these fish. Likes a sandy gravel mixture for a base.
Breeding: Mouth brooder, forms Matriarchal family. Does typical African Cichlid mouth brooder love dance, and digs pits for the occasion.
Coloration: These fish are a beautiful yellow. They have black accented dorsal fins and speckles on their anal and caudal fins. They also have beautiful blue spots on the fins. Females are plain brownish or silvery color.
