Anyone have these interesting nocturnal volts? (cause they can emit electrical charges) If so, pics appreciated.

I had a black ghost knife (Apteronotus albifrons) years ago, but found it too reclusive. Even with dim lighting and plenty of driftwood for cover, it never overcame its shyness and I rarely saw it. Ended up trading it for some blue acaras that better fit my personality.

They seems pretty intersting to me and a good size one will show up in the tank. At the LFS, I feel bad for the Blck Ghosts they have, there is about 5 in one tank and no cover, they are hidding in the corners

When I got rid of him, he was 14-15", pretty-good sized I think Wink. He was in a 225 gallon with a lotta driftwood, and an oscar, a sev, and a coupla plecos for tankmates. Everybody got along well, he ate well and was healthy. Still never saw him much.
