I was killing some time with the kids this afternoon and the Petco nearby had a bird rescue in the store. So we stopped in to check it out and ended up wandering around some and saw that all of their "fancy" aquarium plants were on super clearance.
The girl told me they were switching companies and that the new brand has all their plants in tubes so they don't need to bag them for people anymore. All the $5.99 plants were marked down to $1 and the more expensive plants were $1.50.
I have no idea what they were, the only label they have is "fancy aquarium plant" however they had a few different kinds and they all looked pretty nice.
I let the kids pick out a few and we ended up with some sort of moss balls (java moss maybe wrapped around some styrofoam with a weight so it floats) and something that the internet tells me is called Kyoto.
Dunno if they really are fancy, but they're cheap.
