| Well I decided to venture in to a new area of Cichlids! I purchased a pair or marbled angels today. I plan to try and breed these guys. I have never kept angels so figured I would try something new! Pics to come soon! _________________ "There he goes - one of God's own prototypes - a high powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. | I'm guessing they're already sexed?
I don't think I've seen the marble kind before, I've only ever run across the generic ones. I'd be interested in seeing pics. |

| Hrm. What I know of angels is pretty limited, so all I knew were normal and veiled. I don't usually see them all that often, for some reason.
Is it the black markings that make them marble or is there something I'm missing in that picture? |

| Marbled are typically white/silverly black and yellow blotched! _________________ "There he goes - one of God's own prototypes - a high powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die".

| Gotcha. Not that I would expect entirely accurate naming from Petsmart, but they're the only shop that carries angels on a regular basis near me. The ones like in the picture they call normal/regular and they have a different type that has a much wider top fin they call veiled. |

| There are regular, veiled and super long veiled. The difference is the length of the fins! _________________ "There he goes - one of God's own prototypes - a high powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die".

| If those are the ones with orange in them, they are pretty cool. Pops has some of those, or at least I think he mentioned it. He was far more excited about some albino/blue ones he was trying to breed or something. |

| Hey Pops I have been interested in what you have...Kyle told me about a website you were working on. Do you mind posting it? If you have a banner for it yet I would be happy to put it up on the portal! | Angels are awesome. I had a couple of them, well 6 to be exact, and I absolutely loved them all. I had a male that would take turns fertilizing two separate females laid eggs, guess their not loyal to one girly But they always ate their eggs When I get my huge tank going I think I would love to have another Angel tank, they are sooo majestic. Do you think I could keep them w/ my Severums? |

| It might work out but the sevs might be too big and territorial. _________________ "There he goes - one of God's own prototypes - a high powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die".

| Severums get much larger than angels. I would worry about the angels safety with severums. |
