Well, I have been busy as hell lately, from the looks of how slow the forum has been looks like everyone is enjoying summer or working your asses off one or the other. Personally I have been stressin a lot. Looks like I am going to have to get rid of my Rottweiler dut to a dumb ass ban where I am moving. I also am not allowed to have furniture with water in the house I am trying to rent.....well screw that. I am going to make the garage my tank room in the new house with one tank in the living room....if they have a problem with this I don't care. Next having a hard time finding someone to rent to me with a newly discharged bankruptcy....Credit reports are over rated and a bunch of bull shit if you ask me....sorry I pay my bills but when you have to have emergency surgery and cant afford ins sometimes you have to go to extremes (bankruptcy) or get sued which people think solves everything.

Well it seems as this has become a rant thread but I wanted to let everyone know what is going on with mostlycichlids these days....I guess we have FWM and the shirts are awesome, thanks to everyone who is a part of the forum....Ok back to whats happening. I sold my Nova, I miss the damn car already but got $7000 cash in less than an hour (craigslist is great). Also sold a bunch of other shit but I am still pissed about the dog....anyone who says a certain breed of dog is high risk is an idiot and the law makers that ban these dogs need to check their heads.

I hope everyone is having a great year and when I get settled in NM I will do something special here to show my appreciation to everyone....better to give than receive I guess! Have a great summer and get you contest stuff submitted to me.

Damn! Sorry to hear that MC. My family is going through a very similar situation right now. The only advice I can give you that is working for me right now is to take one day at a time and don't stress over the shit you have no control over. It is easier said than done but it does help. Good luck with everything and keep your head up.

It'll all work out. Know that don't help now, but one door doesn't close without others opening.

WYite is absolutely right ... Everything has a way of working itself out! Just keep your head & don't let the bull shit get to ya. Too much stress will brake you down & you don't want to go there. Remember ... you are only human (a good one at that w/a great heart) & nothing can change that.
Almost everyone I have talked to has been having a god aweful year thus far, the economy, taxes, bills, & oodles of bull shit to deal with.
I myself am going to be homeless soon. Wouldn't be so bad if it were just me but I have 2 indoor cats & probably 15 or so outside cats (average at any given) that are strays & just show up here. I feel so bad for the poor things that I do feed them all. Damn people just dump them here in this stupid ass town or else move away & leave their cats. It's not their fault that their owners are idiots ... I am a firm believer that ... Stupid People Shouldn't Breed!!! Also 19 tanks fully stocked & nowhere to take them. Looks as though my little business is on a very tight time line before closing. Seems that the 1 F****** thing that makes me happy is amost over.
I need to win the Lottery, get my Dad out of that shoddy nursing home he's in so he can just die at home, then I can tell them all to & :GTFO: of our lives!!! I can't even afford to file bankruptcy, if I could I darn sure would.
My flipping step-mother had my dad put in the nursing home & then she pissed around with her "eating disorder" & now she has been institutionalized ... well the next step is the State is going to take the house to sell. The nursing home & institution will get this money for both of their care costs for being there. Not enough that they already get both of their disability checks, pension, etc. If I could come up with a decent sum of money to fix the house, ie ... make it handicap accessable for my dad, get a hospital bed, afford hospice to come every other day or so, & his basic needs it would be awesome! He wants to come home but I just can't afford fix the house for him. All doorways would need to be widened, a ramp made, a shower designed for wheelchairs, all that good shit!
I mean, I was under the impresion that as long as I kept up with the property taxes & stuff that they couldn't take the house away from a family member, especially since my dad did make me his POA for Health, Financial, Property, etc. Another one of those reasons I shouldn't listen to what others say. Guess I just wanted to believe that maybe something good might come my way!
I do feel your pain MC ... & It All Sucks Swap Ass!
Please remember ... we all love ya & wish you all the best threw this hard time you're going threw sweetie

MC: You're a bit out of my range, but I know people who may know folks out in your neck of the woods about the dog. I had no idea NM was so retarded.

HH: Get a lawyer. Seriously. I know in my state that there are laws protecting the people that still live in the house in situations like that.

I have had a bad summer so far. Lost my display tank and that was 5 years of collecting fish down the drain just for the one tank Sad

Now things are going well and I hope they saty this way.

I wish all works out for you in the end just keep your head up Bro Smile

See here Click! That has turned into more than two weeks. Someone hit the ass end of my step-dads truck I was driving the day before the fourth doing some damage and I now have an angry case of fleas running through my apartment to the point that we are living out of trash bags.

MC that law is BS. I know that Miami has a ban on pitbulls. If a person has one and animial control finds out they take the dog and put them down!!

HH I agree with saint that is stright BS

Thanks so much guys, just don't know where I'll be able to get a lawyer with no money. The blood suckers around here do nothing "Pro Bono Publico" ... Latin "for the public good" ... my ass. Only thing you get Pro Bono around here is the Public
"Pretenders" & that's only because it was court ordered (States Attorney Appointed) They don't even try to help, usually just make things worse!!!
Wish I could afford to move anywhere outside of Illinois!

MC you have been busy!! Hope everything turns around for you soon.

We're right on the edge of bankruptcy and sometimes I think it would be easier to just say screw it and start all over again. We keep hanging on.

HH-I had one of those step mothers also. My dad went through hell the last couple of years of his life. I will be hoping and praying that something will happen and you can help your dad. Hang in there!

To bad about the dog that sucks. I wouldn't know about the medical bills, we pay a lot of tax here in Canada for our health care and social programs. I'm sure it will all work out for you and every one else that have had shitty luck.

As for me I have been very busy at work, and try to get on to the forum every day if only for a few minutes.
