a.k.a. bull snake. Glad to see this guy in the yard. Problems with gophers 'round the place, and I've been goin' all Bill Murray on 'em. With 'bout the same success...

I know the neighbors think I've watched Caddyshack waaaaaay too many times...

Measured based on the window well cover after he crossed it, he's 'bout 3 1/2 feet long. Not real big, I've seen quite a few 5-footers over the years. But big enough. The kids came in and said there was a rattlesnake in the yard, I didn't think so but still wanted to make sure. The wife doesn't like snakes, but doesn't get all squemish on me either. So it's all good.

Cool! Nice snake. Hopefully he will help you out with the gophers.

Cool man, hopefully he will find him some gophers to scare off.

The farm store by me had a really nasty gopher problem and got one of these.

Most likely the most excessive gopher destroyer until version 3 comes out but it was pretty fun to watch. It fills the gopher hole with oxygen and propane and then ignites it.

The far end of the gopher hole went boom, and then the whole damn thing caves in.

I was gonna plug all the holes cept one, stick a hose attached to a propane bottle in the last hole, let the tunnel fill and light 'er up, and my wife said I wasn't thinkin' straight...hmmmm, maybe I was on to somethin'.

I'm sure you can do a DIY version. Wink

They didn't plug any of the holes on any of the other ends. I remember the guys there saying the instructions said not to, but can't remember why.

This thing is hilarious. Fire in the hole, shock and awe. Check out the action video set to some serious riffing. No more unsightly holes or mounds of earth when you blow them up with the Rodenator Pro.

Bigger explosion and better chance of getting hurt I would suspect. The other holes let the explosion dissipate a little more.

Those were some funny videos...lol. I'd love to try that out but my neighbor's might not care too much for it.
