| Nice, and I am a big fan of the black gravel! Good work! _________________ "There he goes - one of God's own prototypes - a high powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die".

What's the layer of brown under the gravel? Is that just dirt for the plants or something different/special?

Let's see,WPG are 3.5.I used Miracle Grow potting soil under the gravel. It stained the water yellow for 2 or 3 weeks, but after everything settled down, the rooted plants took hold and really seem to like the soil under the gravel. There was alot of algae growing on the gravel and plants in the first pic.I had to use half doses of flourish excel for a while because it was melting the Val.But now that the Val can take daily full doses, the algae is under control much better,so here is an updated pic of it.

Not bad but you should sort through the plants and keep those which wont outgrow the 10g tank. Plus will give your fish more room to swim and enjoy themselves... But still nice and healthy growth.

Well, this is the most recent I have of it right now.My camera's battery is dead,I'll try to get a new one of it this weekend. But anyway, the melon sword is a lot more trimmed down, and the micro sword has totally carpeted the substrate, but this is pretty close to how is is today.
