Boy am I loving this new local fish club I joined a couple of months ago. I went to the auction tonight and picked up a 20gal High tank w/ glass top, a 150w visitherm deluxe heater (brand new in the box), a pair of adult gold angels and about 20 java fern all for only $29. Woot!!

| Local club auctions are great. Although the GCCA doesn't auction off dry good very often, I have gotten quite a few breeding groups for my synodontis multipuntatus to work with, and they have come fairly cheap.

Damn. I wish there was something close to me. Nearest one is an hour and half drive. I'd be all over the plants. I can't get them cheaply anywhere around here.

Maybe you should move closer... ...j/k. I've been wanting some java fern for a while and couldn't believe I picked these up for $5. They are usually too expensive here too.

Yeah, it helps to have those kinds of connections. I got a new rotalla that has thinner leaves than indica. I only got a couple small sprigs, but they were free from the club show tank at the lfs.
