| Well I bought a pair of Blue Acaras about six months ago...I got one spawn from them while they were in my 20g waiting to go into the 55g....Needless to say I pulled the fry too soon and lost them all. I decided to move them in with tankmates in the 55g. They never spawned again. A week and a half ago I moved them into the 29g by themselves, they have been doing the mating behaviors and I noticed the female is dark and in her breeding color...the male has been pressuring her a bit. I just noticed today both the male and female have their vent out....I am pretty sure they are going to spawn in the next day or two...I am excited to see them have more babies. They have been doing the dances, lip locking and such for about 2-3 days now. _________________ "There he goes - one of God's own prototypes - a high powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. | Well, tuesday I bought a clay pot for the tank. Today I look in and notice the Male guarding a large bunch of eggs...All still clear color. I think she laid them Wednesday night because I seen her in there before bed after lights out. _________________ "There he goes - one of God's own prototypes - a high powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. | Well I looked in today and seen all but just a few eggs were gone. So I looked around and watched for a minute. I seen the Male and the female moving the eggs to a pit the Male dug out in the back of the tank. I looked closer and the eggs are vibrating....I have wigglers, looks to be a hundred or more at least!!!
Should be free swimming in a few days! _________________ "There he goes - one of God's own prototypes - a high powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die".

| I said there was about 100 or so but I am beginning to think there is a lot more than that. _________________ "There he goes - one of God's own prototypes - a high powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die".
