| The pond has some bluegills, flathead minnows, and a small, half dollar sized redear slider.  You should be able to see a few of the juvenile Bluegill in this pic.  This little guy was hanging around when I snapped the pics  A few night shots

| How to tell it's a half dollar sized Slider: All the plants are still pretty.  Looks schnazzy. Am jealous you get to keep plants actually in the water in your pond. |

I picked up one Water Lettuce plant at a store called Shy's Feed & Pets. This is plant is growing fast! I already harvested a dozen or so and sold them back to them. I only get .50c each store credit but every penny helps!

| If you feed him from the same spot on a regular basis, he'll come out and get friendly with you. I don't know the weather in your area, but if he camps out, that pond is too small to hibernate though the winter. |

Thanks for the advice! I do keep 2 small submerged heaters in the pond in the colder months. I will set up something in the basement for him if that dosn't work out.
