Like the tile says whats your favorite fish? Mine is african shell dwellers!

I have too many to list, out of the ones I currently keep I would say, my Green Terror. The reason behind the decision is what she has been through....The bad care of velvet which killed everything but her and my con...she was on her death bed for over a week laying down, lost a lot of finnage, and partially blind in one eye, pulled through and is living it up now. Enough discussion...if you want to see what she was like while sick it's on here somewhere....she has a special place in my heart.

I would have to say New World cichlids. In particular the Parachromis dovii from Central America and Caquetaia umbriferus from South America.

So far of what I have kept the Severums are my favorite.

Oh, this is a tough one. Uuuuuhhh...Jack Dempseys. Although I'm also quite fond of Chocolate Gouramis, Kuhlii Loaches, South American Leaf Fish, and a few hundred other species.

For me it's not any specific fish, but personality. The goldfish and cichlids that beg for food or follow you around the tank. The monos in the twitchy way that they have of all rushing around. The catfish that rub into your arms or legs when you're fixing something in their pond.

Stuff like that is what I enjoy. I don't like to just watch, I like to be able to interact with 'em.
