Nice catch! My friend told me of a small pond near my house where I can cach hornpout in mid day! I might check it out this weekend.

The bullheads are too cute to eat. If I could get 'em easily I'd try 'em out in with the sliders here.

Went fishing yesterday and all I got was a pickerel :angspmd: . Interesting thing I was pulling him in he spit the hook out and jumped into the canoe! Up here we call them junk fish because they are not sport fish. I had a couple of perch play with my bait but no takers.

Maybe next time. At least you caught something though...or did it catch you? lol

Yeah they can but this one didn't. I was kinda glad he spit out the hook because these guys have teeth and I didn't have a metal gripper.
