Well I have decided to go all out with the Electric blue Jack Dempseys. I will be getting five Blue gene Jack Dempseys next week. For those who don't know Electric blue Jacks can't spawn and have viable offspring. You need a Blue gene and a EBJD to create a EBJD. In addition to the blue genes I am hoping to be getting 3 Gold gene Jack Dempseys from Markm0723. My hopes are to get a EBJD/Gold Pair and a EBJD/BG pair possibly a BG/BG pair as well. We will see what happens I guess and getting three pairs out of 10 fish is going to be almost impossible. If I get two pair I will be happy and should have some offspring to share in the near future!

Well should be getting the three Golds from Mark this week and I won the auction for the BG JD'd but have not heard back from the guy sense the auction ended....I already paid him. I am hoping to get them this week too. I also found three tanks and a triple tank stand for them...they are all 40g breeder tanks for 300 bucks....I may go and pick them up the week after next. For now the JD's will be in the 20 and 29g till I get the 40's set up.

Well I am hoping to get a few pairs and breed for the enjoyment but also to make some extra cash too...maybe some contest prizes as well.

Well, because of some difficulty with shipping and weather and such I have had a delay in getting the Gold genes for the project. I am getting five golds tomorrow though from a friend of the guy I got the Blue genes from. They should of been here today but USPS in Denver is about friggin worthless I swear. Anyway the BG's are getting big fast and the golds will be slightly smaller about 1.5 inch. Anyway just wanted to give an update...now all I have left to do is feed the hell outa them and wait...oh and get a few more tanks going.

Good luck getting everything in. Any ideas what an EBJD/Gold JD would turn out?
