Yo im a nub with a 55 gallon tank doing a fishless cycle currently! I just bumped my ammonia up to 5ppm or w/e today and just trying to pick decorations and fish in the mean time. Also my ph is 8.5 +

Well fishless cycle is definitely the way to go. Don't keep us on the edge like this...what are you planning for the tank!

The kids picked out that standing dragon for one of the tanks here. You may want to check in store if you have one close. I don't remember if we got it on sale or something, but I remember it was only 15 or 18 bucks.
