I went to my first local fish club meeting tonight and it turned out great. I picked up some Sids for $9 each. I've been looking to get some for a while now but every time I saw them they were selling for about $30 each. I'm so psyched I got a sweet deal. Very Happy

Yup...they are also known as chain loaches or dwarf loaches. I'll try to get some pics of them tonight.

I forgot to mention that our meeting was at a LFS and this was their regular price on the sids. I'm hoping I can get some more as they only had 4 left. Not the best pics but here's a few of the new additions...They are fun to watch.

Very nice pickup! I can tell you from personal experience, it is very easy to get addicted to loaches! Can't get enough!! Wink

If you are able to get more, the larger the group the better and the more interaction you will see between them. They are really very socially inclined fish. Best of luck with them! Smile

Thanks. I bought all the fish they had the day I got these. I will definitely be adding to the group soon...I'm hoping to have at least 8-10 in there.
