| I have found that it is good every once in a while to take your filters, powerheads, what ever you have, and take them apart like that and clean them up some. Especially the impeller (the magnet piece with the blades that move the water), pull that out of the socket that it sits in, clean the goop off of it, then use a small round brush to get down inside the socket, there is always gunk inside there. |
