| Well overdue for some updates on the status. After a hectic few months, I'm back on a roll... And some stands in progress, only three more when these are done, which should be Monday barring anything unforeseen... I'll have fish in the room by the end of the week. Long story short, I'm goin' back to shiftwork and my office is bein' used by someone else, so I hafta move my ofice tank home. I had planned on havin' it done already, but the weather didn't help me out... WYite _________________ One can never have too many fish tanks.

| Hey, Wyite. I was looking through and saw your Phase 3, w/ your "E" shaped tank that's 8' tall and thought, why RTCs, gars, and other monsters when you could actually make a real impressive Cichlid Communty. Add some Gorgeous Oscars, GTs, and some Aros, and some other awesome Cichlids instead of those giants. This is my opinion. I'm gonna have a huge tank one day, I promise I will as long as I don't die before then. |

Yeah. I'm actually lookin' forward to goin' back on shift as far as the days off go. I put in 5 or 6 10-12 hour days anyways, so I'm not loosin' anything. I can get a lot done in 4 days off.

Senegal, if I get this far, that tank will be app. 100,000 gallons. Even the largest cichlids, except maybe Boulengerochromis microlepis, Parachromis dovii and larger specimens of a few other cichlid species, would be lost in that volume of water. Proper care would be virtually impossible. IMO, there's no point in havin' fish in a tank that you can't see them in. It'd kinda be like keepin' 500 guppies in a 300 gallon tank. The fish become an expendable number rather than pets. Not my style, although I can see where that kinda set-up would appeal to some people.
