Okay, here is what the room started as in mid-December.

And here is where it's at today, one shot from the door and one toward the door. Ya can see the heater on the wall on the shot from the doorway. Cranked it on for the first time today, don't think I'm gonna have any problems maintaining temp in the room once the plastic and walls are up.

Each outlet is on it's own 20 amp breaker and is 46" above the floor.

Now that the power is all restored to the basement, tomorrow, I'm gonna hang the plastic on the walls. Then it'll be ready for greenboard. Hope to pick that up on Friday, maybe tomorrow afternoon, and to hang it over the weekend.

OK, finally, my helper, a 17 year old calico, Maybell

and my one year old fuzzy inspector, Clawdette

The other four cats haven't come down much.

I'll get some more pics tomorrow or Friday. Happy New Year!

I'll try to get some updated pics tomorrow, guys. Have the 6 mm plastic up and the greenboard on the ceiling. Have a drywall lift rented for the weekend, so worked until 11:30 last night and just knocked off tonight. I only have a small part of the second room and two sheets to hang on the ceiling in the hall tomorrow, so shoulld be an early day.

This vacation is killin' me. Been on vacation since Dec. 11, and after 10-14 hour days and only three days without workin' on this basement, I'm ready to go back to work on Monday!

Alright, a llittle late on the update pics, but been bustin' my behind.

So here's the room after I wrapped it with the 6 mm plastic. Got hot, 87° F on the floor and 92° at the ceiling, with the heater off. Had a 500 watt halogen lamp in there to see, though, and they put out some heat.

No light in there yet, and the pic with the halogen lamp was too washed out to see anything.

Here's the subpanel, before and after. First time I ever added one a these. Had to, 11 of the 15 circuits in there go to the fishroom and didn't have enough slots open in the main breaker. My electrician buddy looked everything over and asked me why I wasted his time, he'd seen journeymean electricians who's work didn't look that good. Shoulda taken a pic before I put the cover on, but ain't openin' it again just to do that.

Here's two shots of the greenboard. Have electrical to all the circuits in the room except one. I found out somethin' today. All sheet rock IS NOT perfectly square. I'm no master carpenter, but I KNEW my walls weren't that far off square. So I checked the sheet rock boards, and waddya know, some of 'em aren't perfectly square either, LOL.

Doin' 4 or 5 sheets after work each night, hopin' to be taping and mudding both rooms and the hall this weekend. Already realize I miscalculated and gonna have to get another sheet of greenboard. No biggie.

Anyways, that's the update.

Greenboard is all hung. Put the bullnose up on the corners. Swept. Thet took pics and got nothin' but sheet rock dust. Looks like a took a picture of a white out during a blizzard. I'll wait 'til the dust settles and try to take pics again.
